3-D Thinking For Workplace Innovation
Engaging Employees for Competitive Advantage
Workplace innovation is now recognised as a key source of competitive advantage for Irish businesses, and a critical element of Ireland's National System of Innovation.
Our 2008 Masterclass will be devoted to an examination of this critically important topic, demystifying the practices and processes of workplace innovation and exploring concrete solutions to the challenge of implementing innovative and creative employee-engagement initiatives in the workplace.
The Masterclass will be led by Professor Peter Totterdill (UKWON), with keynote addresses by Professor Michael West (Aston Business School, UK) and Dr. Jimmy Devins, TD (Minister of State for Innovation).
Panel discussions with representatives of Irish companies that have embraced the workplace-innovation agenda through the Workplace Innovation Fund will be complemented by inputs from senior policymakers and international experts.
For the second year in succession, a highlight of the Masterclass will be a Forum Theatre production, a highly interactive approach whereby professional actors and facilitators explore key aspects of organisational innovation with the audience.
