Case Studies
Since its establishment in 2001, the NCPP has built up a large repertoire of practical case studies of partnership-led change and innovation in the public and private sectors in Ireland.
These case studies are categorised by sector in the left-hand menu column – please click on the sector you are interested in, and from there choose the company or organisation you wish to study, or simply scroll down the page.

Health
The Irish health service is currently undergoing a period of reform, transition and change. A major challenge is to operate more efficiently in a cost conscious environment and deliver more effective services, while at the same time improve the quality of working life for staff and enable them to embrace change for the future.
In December 2004, the NCPP published a report entitled 'Promoting Innovation and High Performance: The Impact of Partnership Approaches to Change in the Irish Health Service' (available to download in 'Reports and Studies' section - see Sectoral Partnership sub-section). The report was based on a project, co-funded by the Health Service National Partnership Forum (HSNPF), which draws key lessons for the health service from five case studies of organisational change and innovation through partnership.
