NCPP Welcomes Integration into NESC
As of 1st April 2010, the NCPP and the NESF
have been integrated into the NESC. The NESC
Council has been asked to adapt its work
programme to ensure that appropriate aspects
of the work of the NCPP and NESF are continued.
This decision, therefore, to integrate the
NCPP and the NESF does not reflect any
reduction in the Government's support for
social dialogue.
The NESC will continue as a forum for
engagement between Government and the Social
Partners on strategic economic and social
issues over the period ahead.
The NESC offices are still in Parnell
Square and a website for the new organisation
